A tape machine which i recorded various buttons and switches on. This was a nice one with a metallic ring to it.

I took this sample from a phone message. I did use a live feed,(from the headset output on my phone, through a cable into my digital recorder. ) but it is very soft. When i tried recording with out the live feed, i couldn't even find the noise again. It could definitely use to be amped up a bit.

Operating my washing machine (front loader, brand: indesit). This reflect the full circle of a washing process from turning the control knob to the typical “clack” when the machine is finished and the look is once again released. All the intermediate steps like washing, spinning and so on, are shorten in time (otherwise this would be a 50min sound clip). But you can loop all those sounds very well. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. This is a recording near the entrance of a pachinko parlor (kind of slot machine casino in japan).

This is a 4 mic recording taken inside a pachinko parlor in akasaka, tokyo. There are so many loud machines and the background music is so loud that you can hardly make out individual sounds and the entire space is just a wash of noise. If you listen closely to this one you can hear some of the individual balls dropping. (when you play pachinko, you win metal balls which can be exchanged for cash later. ).

A machine door shutting down.

This was recorded in my kitchen next to a railway, late at night when there was maintenance going on on the line. A heavy unit called a tamper went past, tamping down the ballast (stones) that go under the tracks. Lots of sub-bass as the whole building gets vibrated and at -04:29 a balanced teapot lid puts itself onto the teapot. Zoom h4n, 24/48 wav exported to flac in audacity.

This is me playing around with my various string instruments. I decided to try to create a creepy string texture-ish sound, but it came out sounding like a haunted string orchestra. I hope you like it. I used a foot-long violin, a full-sized violin, a ukulele, and my father's home-made frettless banjo-thing.

I used a single gunshot sound to make a classic gangster-movie machine gun sound. Can be easily looped.

I used the same sound as the slower machine gun burst to make a faster one. Can be easily looped.

A hand cranked metal spindle machine that takes a long thread and spins it around a spindle to be used for weaving. Recorded on zoom h6 using a sennheiser mkh60 at 48khz. Recordings of the tangaliya weaver comunity in gujarat, india.

This is found in an old library from the software "olitec", that ran on windows 95. Answering machine software that says "leave a message". I can't make up if the speech is output by a robot or if it is just a human speech with very low framerate.
